RIVER RAFTING

Rafting down the main stem of the American River near Sacramento is a trip which my buddy Roger Mills, a Sierra Singles leader, and I lead each year. The rapids are not especially challenging - only Class 2 - and people get wet mainly from the water fights that take place.

No, this activity is more about having good conversations with people in your raft while floating down the river at a relaxing speed.
